In his only season as a full-time starter, Peterson averaged a team-best 16.8 points as a senior, earning Big Ten MVP honors and leading Michigan State to the 2000 NCAA Championship. As a junior, Peterson became the first reserve in Big Ten history to earn first team all-league honors.

NBA Timeline

The 2010-11 season was Peterson’s 11th in the NBA and his first with the Oklahoma City Thunder. His career also includes a three-year stint in New Orleans, after opening with seven seasons in Toronto. He’s averaged double figures in scoring four times in his career, including a career-best 16.8 ppg in 2005-06.
